Curriculum Art

As part of our Ancient Greek topic, we have been learning about the myth of Theseaus and the Minotaur. In this myth, the minotaur is kept in a large maze (known as a Labyrinth). We have created our own mazes in art. Take a look at them here!

Holocaust Memorial Day Artwork

We have marked Holocaust Memorial Day through our artwork this week. We have joined in with the nation's theme, 'Lighting the Darkness' and have created some candle art to place in our windows. This is to stand against hatred and prejudice and to remember those who were murdered for who they were.

Holocaust Memorial Day Work

This week we are lucky to have local poet (and regular visitor to IWPS!) James Nash spend some time working with us. Our theme this year is the Holocaust Memorial Day and James is leading us through some tried and tested methods to get us all writing poetry! We will try to share some of our work each day!
HMD - Day 1

Today, we listened to James Nash and to a chapter of Tom Palmer's story, 'The Question'. We then began to write our poems. Here are some of our first drafts.
