Our Surprise Anglo-Saxon Visitor

As we have been studying the Anglo-Saxon era, we had two special visitors from a historic town called Battle. They spoke to us about the battles in 1066 and showed us a tapestry they had made. This tapestry was influenced by the history of the town of Battle from 1066 to 1115. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day- especially trying on the interesting clothes!

Dissecting plants

In Science, we dissected a flowering plant. We had to make sure that we were careful as the plants were very delicate. We looked that the parts under the microscope. We thought it was amazing to see the parts in detail.

Our amazing filter science

We did some experimenting on filtering some dirty water in science. We did this by using different types of materials. It was messy but fun.
