We have been trying so hard to improve our handwriting in Year 1. We are learning to write cursive letters to help us to join our writing. Look at some of the fantastic examples!
Our homework web is all about Sculpture this half term to support our topic driver: What is Sculpture? Take a look at the photo's of famous sculptures to help you complete some of the tasks. We look forward to seeing some of your amazing sculptures!
We had a wonderful day out at Ripley Castle. We found out a lot of historical facts from our tour around the inside of the castle. The afternoon was spent exploring the castle grounds and gardens where we found the Fallow Deer grazing.
We searched for tiny creatures living in the woods. We had to stamp our feet to try to get the worms to come out of the ground.
During summer 1 we have been exploring the story or Rainbow Fish through dance during our PE lessons. We have worked hard at changing our movements when we hear changes in the music to create an under the sea story. See what you think of our finished dance!
