Year 2's Trip To Whitby!

We had a FANTASTIC time learning about Captain Cook in Whibty! We also had a brilliant time playing on the beach and paddling in the sea!

Celebrating the Queen's Birthday!
Circuits!

Today we started our Health and Safety days with some circuit training! It certainly got our hearts beating fast!

Planting Cress!

Today we planted our own cup of cress which we took home to watch grow!

How can we grow our own salad?

As part of our Topic this half term, we have started to carry out our own cress investigation! We decided that our question would be 'what does cress need in order to grow?' We planted four different pots and we put two in the sun and two in the dark. We gave one of the pots water and one of the pots no water. I wonder if you can predict which one you think will grow?

Summer Newsletter!

Here you will find the Summer newsletter for Year 2 which contains lots of important news and dates!

Homework

Homework! Here you will find the Topic web homework sheet for our topic. How can we grow our own salad? Remember, Topic homework is optional. However, you could earn yourself some extra team points if you complete a task!
