We really enjoyed dressing up as our favourite book characters for World Book Day Can you guess who we were?

The children have been busy learning the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. Watch our videos to see the children retell the story using story telling actions.

1M had a great time exploring the Makkah Masjid Mosque with 5B and 1S really enjoyed their visit to The Grand Mosque with 5C. It was interesting to see our learning in context and hear about Muslim traditions.

Year 1 have learned a fantastic spring daffodil dance during PE. Have a look at our video with our dance teacher, Michel.

We evaluated our learning about Islam by working in teams to present our findings. We enjoyed making some posters, deciding how to organise and present the information. We then shared our learning with Reception classes!

In English we changed the story of Stick Man and took him on a new adventure. The children wrote some fantastic stories. Since February half term we have been exploring the traditional tale, 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. We have retold the events brilliantly in writing!
