Zoo Lab (30.03.16)

Reception thoroughly enjoyed our visit from Zoo lab. We have been learning about minibeasts and found out some really interesting (and disgusting) facts. Your child would love to look through these photos with you and tell you some of the facts they can remember.

World Book Day (03.03.16)

Today we enjoyed sharing stories with some of our parents, grandparents and carers. We also visited our local library and continued our reading journey. We loved dressing up as our favourite book characters. Who is your favourite character and why?

RA visit to Build A Bear (Tuesday 23rd February)

We had such a great time at Build A Bear in White Rose Shopping Centre today. We had to listen carefully to instructions so we could stay safe and work together to choose our class bears, decide names for them and then choose them some clothes. We were a great team!

Eureka! (Wednesday 3rd February)

We had a fantastic time exploring at Eureka! Your child/children would love to look at the photos with you and talk to you about their favourite experiences. All behaved well including all the staff! Well done Reception on your first big trip.

Reception really enjoyed dressing up as digits today. We had
lots of fantastic 'onesies' and 'tutus' in particular.

Do you have a favourite number?

We had a huge response to our heaviest potato and longest
carrot competition and it was a close call but the winners
  were....

Megan with a potato that weighed a whopping 825g
                                   and
Emily with a carrot that was a staggering 25cm long.

                          Well done girls!!!
