April - Chicks

We visited Reception to visit their HatchIt chicks.

April - History Workshop

We had a visit from staff from the Leeds Discovery Centre to teach us about the Stone Age, Iron Age and Bronze Age.

April - Puzzle Workshop

We had great fun at a puzzle workshop. Great to see lots of team work and cooperation.

March - STEM day

We learnt all about water and how important it is. We were also engineers for the afternoon and thought about how to build structures to transport water.

March - World Book Day

We had great fun on World Book Day, dressing up as Walliams and Donaldson characters. We also had a "Roll up and read" session with parents!

March - Firebrigade visit

Firefighters from Cookridge fire station came to talk to us about fire safety and having a fire plan at home. They also spoke to us about staying safe in cars and how to be a good passenger.

February - ICT workshop

We had two ICT workshops. One was at Lawnswood High School, where we used GoogleSketchUp and one was in school where we learnt more about IMovie.

February - Tennis

We've had great fun this half term learning how to play tennis. We have built up to lots of games, including umpiring and refereeing them ourselves.

January - Mosque

We visited the Mosque as part of our Topic question - "What is life like for Muslim's in Leeds?" We also visited the park whilst the other half of the class were on their way!
