We had a fantastic day out at Skipton Castle. It was really interesting to hear all about life in the past. We enjoyed looking all around the Castle on a tour, especially going into the dark dungeons!
To begin our new topic we have been thinking about what 'sound' is. We found a definition in the dictionary.
We had a fantastic half term learning about lots of different celebrations. We enjoyed our Diwali experience day where we learned Hindu dancing, created Mendhi and Rangoli patterns, and sampled some Indian food.
Watch us learning our Hindu dance! We had great fun learning it during our Diwali afternoon and enjoyed sharing it with Year 6 as part of our Hindu learning.
We enjoyed our topic during Autumn 1 as we explored humans and animals. We found out lots of interesting facts and compared ourselves to other types of animals.
