We have been learning all about the Great Fire of London. We designed and made houses and then we watched as the fire spread.

We explored fractions with concrete objects and found both a quarter and a half. We had a lot of fun!

We had fun finding out which material was waterproof!

The children created freeze frames as if they were there during the Great Fire. They thought about what people would be doing and used their faces to show how they might feel.

Our topic this term is 'The Great Fire of London'. The fire service came to visit us to talk to us about what the fire service do and all of the equipment that they have today.
