Welcome to Year 3!

This half term, our topic has been Saltaire. We have learnt about the history and geography of the town and have written comparisons of Bradford and Saltaire in Victorian times from the perspective of a millworker.

Next half term, our topic is Judaism and our big question is 'Is Judaism like any other religion I know?'.
In English, we will be reading Mousehole Cat and Voices in the Park and in Mathematics we will be focussing on multiplication and division.

Saltaire Visit

Last week, Year 3 had a wonderful time on their school visit to Saltaire. We participated in a performance and explored the town in the character of a Victorian resident. After lunch, we visited Robert's Park and found the statues of Sir Titus Salt and his famous alpacas. Then, we enjoyed looking at David Hockney's inspriring artwork in the mill.
