We've had the paddling pool out in Reception today as it has been the hottest day of the year thus far. We've all had a great time cooling off and splashing around.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our visit to St.Leonard's Farm especially the staff! Each class got to sit in the 'hay bale classroom' to learn about baby animals and had the chance to stroke/hold many of them including: a kid (baby goat), a kitten (baby rabbit), a duckling, a chick, a chinchilla, a ferret, a rat, and a pretend snake! I think that was everything. We also got to explore the farm and see even more animals as well as having a play in the fantastic play barns. All in all, we had a fantastic day out and have been doing some fantastic writing about our visit back in class.
