A morning of myths

Our visitor, Matthew Bellwood, took us through a series of myths with story and drama. We had a lot of fun!

Autumn Newsletter

At the moment, I have only included Autumn 1's dates, as I had so many! I will send home the Autumn 2 dates separately.

Welcome back! In Year 6 this year, our members of staff are: Mrs Amos, Mrs Coverdale, Mr Gittins, Mrs Abbott and Mrs Rivett.
Our PE days are Tuesdays (indoor) and Wednesdays (outdoor), but please bring PE kit every day. Kit should be clearly labelled with your child's name.
Homework will given out every Friday and is expected to be returned the following Tuesday. Spelling tests will take place across the whole school on Wednesdays. Please practise spellings with your child (ren) as this is an area of development for IWPS this year.
Before half term, we will be learning all about the Ancien Greeks (What have we learned from the Ancient Greeks?) and after half term we will be looking at WW1 (Was it really a Great War?)
If you have any problems or issues, we have an open door policy and we welcome any parental feedback. First thing in a morning is always a good time to catch your class teacher.
